How to set up a treasure hunt at home?
1. Choose the hiding places you have at home (fridge, under the bed, letterbox…). Count 6 to 10 clues for 30 to 45 minutes of play.
2. Print and cut out the clue cards. The organiser sheet tells you exactly where to hide each card.
3. Hand out the first clue to the kids: each riddle leads to the next hiding place, all the way to the final treasure.
Which riddles for which age?
For 3 to 6 year olds who can’t read yet, the cards show a big picture and a very simple sentence an adult can read out. From 7, they are real riddles to solve as a team.
